Super-cooper.com is the personal site of Chad Cooper – husband, father of two young boys, and closet nerd. Professionally, I’m a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst in the oil and natural gas industry. I develop small to medium-sized applications in Python and .NET that transform and move GIS and GIS-related data around the corporate enterprise. Currently, I am also working on enterprise ArcGIS Server .NET web applications. In the past I’ve been a GIS Technician with several companies and have done some GIS/surface-water modeling. Over the past eight years or so I’ve hacked away at HTML, ColdFusion, PHP, CSS, VBA/ArcObjects, Python, and most recently, C#.
In my spare time, I hang out with the wife and kids, attempt to maintain the pool, and curse our cat dog.
